Launched onto the international stage with his novel What a Carve Up! Jonathan Coe is the recipient of several French awards including the 1998 Médicis étranger for The House of Sleep. He also won the European Book Prize for Middle England in 2019 and was decorated with the Order of Arts and Letters.
His latest novel Bournville is a profoundly moving, brutally funny and brilliantly true portrait of Britain told through four generations of one family.
