On June the 10th Dr Tessa Murdoch, from the Victoria and Albert Museum, led a full day of celebration beginning very early on with a Huguenot walk in Soho and ending in the evening by a conversation with Barbara Julien, Huguenot Society, on the contribution of French Huguenots to British society.
This event attracted many members from both the French community and the Huguenots’ descendants, including Brian de Save, president of the Huguenot Society and Peter Duval, deputy director of the French hospital, la Providence.
We will soon be including more details from this wonderful evening, which was part of ‘Still Reforming’, a London celebration of the Reformation.
